Biography:
The Silver Surfer, known for his gleaming chrome appearance, first appeared in Fantastic Four #48 (March 1966).
Originally Norrin Radd from the planet Zenn-La, he bargained with Galactus to save his world from destruction. In exchange, he became Galactus's herald, searching the cosmos for planets for the world-eater to consume.
The Surfer is imbued with the Power Cosmic, granting him incredible abilities, including flight at near-light speed, energy manipulation, and cosmic awareness. He wields a surfboard made of the same indestructible, cosmic-powered material as his skin.
Though initially bound to serve Galactus, the Silver Surfer eventually rebelled, inspired by the compassion and humanity he witnessed on Earth. He became a protector of life and a symbol of redemption, often grappling with the moral implications of his past service.
